About me

I am currently a junior researcher (RTDa) in Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematics “Guido Castelnuovo” of Sapienza University of Rome, where I am a member of the ERC project KiLiM, led by Sergio Simonella.

From September 2023 to February 2026, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Zurich, first affiliated with the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zurich and later with the Department of Mathematics of ETH Zurich. During this period, I worked under the supervision of Mikaela Iacobelli and Klaus Widmayer.

I obtained my PhD in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics “Guido Castelnuovo” in May 2023. My PhD advisors were Dario Benedetto and Emanuele Caglioti.

My research interests lie in mathematical kinetic theory, with a particular focus on the rigorous derivation of kinetic and hydrodynamic equations, the asymptotic or long-time behavior of Vlasov-type equations, and the statistical properties of interacting particle systems in kinetic scaling regimes. From a mathematical perspective, my work combines techniques from partial differential equations, optimal transport, statistical mechanics, and probability theory.
